Since 2024, HUMAX Networks has pioneered the application of its next-generation smart AI antenna control solution, OCRA, in collaboration with major domestic telecommunications operators for mobile base stations and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) pilot projects.

OCRA—an integrated solution comprising an Optical Compass (OC), OC Controller (OCC), and Robot Arm (RA)—is designed to enhance the performance of existing mobile base stations. By dynamically adjusting antenna direction based on real-time crowd density, such as at the Sangam World Cup Stadium or large-scale events like the Gwangalli Fireworks Festival in Busan, OCRA ensures optimal network quality and service continuity.

OCRA’s ability to remotely and autonomously control antenna azimuth, tilt, and rotation is particularly essential for the establishment of aerial 5G networks, enabling the optimized design and stable operation of communication infrastructures for UAM.

As a key supplier for the pilot route along the Ara Waterway between Seo-gu and Gyeyang-gu in Incheon, HUMAX Networks has secured a strategic entry point into the emerging eco-friendly urban air mobility market.

With its proven technological excellence, HUMAX Networks is well-positioned to play a central role in the future deployment of 6G infrastructure and the advancement of the national K-UAM initiative.
