HUMAX Networks’ next-generation smart AI antenna control solution, OCRA, has been selected as a Winner in the Product Design category of the Red Dot Award, one of the world’s top three design competitions.
OCRA is an innovative antenna alignment solution that integrates a high-resolution front camera and a solar-powered Optical Compass system for precise azimuth measurement. Its key differentiator lies in the synergy between optical compass technology and a Robot Arm-based antenna control mechanism. Powered by AI analytics, OCRA detects crowd density in areas surrounding large-scale events such as stadiums and concert halls. It then uses its robot arm—controlled via an OC Controller—to dynamically adjust the antenna's direction, thereby expanding coverage and distributing traffic to optimize wireless network performance.
OCRA has already been successfully launched with major telecom operators in Korea and is a proven solution in different markets. Its on-site results have demonstrated not only technical excellence but also measurable traction in the commercial field.
This Red Dot recognition validates its excellence in innovation, functionality, usability, and sustainability from a global design perspective and this achievement strengthens market trust in the OCRA solution while enhancing HUMAX Networks’ brand image. It also marks a meaningful milestone toward increasing global brand recognition and advancing into international markets.
